An interactive mobile TV service, or DMB 2.0, will beam its the first signals on April 15th by SK Telecom with six terrestrial-DMB operators (TDMB). With DMB 2.0, mobile TV viewers are able to search the internet, receive news or stock information updates, and even enjoy mobile shopping while watching television.

TU Media, the nation's only operator of satellite DMB service, introduced a dual DMB phone (SCH-W890), which allows users to view both satellite and terrestrial DMB. With the dual DMB phone, users are able to enjoy 36 channels (23 video channels and 13 audio channels) via S-DMB as well as 21 channels through T-DMB. TU Media expects the new mobile TV phone will help to attract new customers by resolving content shortages.
