Will KT Select TD-LTE?

While KT said it will work closely with China Mobile and NTT DoCoMo in LTE (Long-Term Evolution) research and development, and meanwhile attention grows on which LTE technology will eventually be selected by KT.

LTE Flying in Asia Next Year

At the Mobile Asia Congress, one of the top topics was LTE (Long Term Evolution). Hong Kong's CSL said it is ready to go live with its LTE network and is set to launch a raft of new multimedia services. CSL is expected to commercially launch LTE before year end and is likely to become the first Hong Kong operator to do so.

Samsung Defines Key Device Technologies for LTE Era

While LTE (Long Term Evolution) is gaining momentum, the device has been facing new challenges in delivering "rich multimedia services," according to Samsung Electronics vice president, Min-goo Kim. He also mentioned that it is necessary to solve the need to merge wired IP devices and mobile devices into one device.
