Mobile Music Market

LG Telecom, the smallest mobile carrier among three operators, recently opened a music station service called "EarFun" offering streaming music and video 22 hours a day. The music service is free for the company's mobile Internet service and its 'OZ' members.

Meanwhile, other mobile operators, including LG Telecom, are also running paid Internet-mobile-aligned music services: Melon by SK Telecom, Dosirak by KT and MusicOn by LG Telecom. The free streaming service signals a change in the local mobile music market.
