App Store Goes IPTV

As early as in the third quarter, subscribers of IPTV will be able to buy various content and applications on the TV platform, even thru their smartphones.

IPTV operators KT and SK Broadband announced that they will introduce a TV application store allowing companies and individuals to sell their content on IPTV, which serves as a marketplace, as a part of an "Open IPTV" policy.
